Rupert the Bear playing bowls

This panel was made to commemorate the 65th birthday of a life-long fan of Rupert the Bear. Also a fan of bowls, their two passions were combined to create this window.

Production details:

• A combination of blue/white and white Wispy Spectrum glass was used for the sky
• Red Dynasty glass gives a textured effect to the jumper
• Acid yellow Cathedral glass was used for the trousers and scarf, hand painted to add the checkered pattern
• Light green Dynasty glass was used for the bowling lawn
• Solid white glass was used for the head, hands and feet, with the detail painted on
